नरेंद्र मोदी के ये शब्द हैं. राम को लेकर मोदी की ये रचना काफी पुरानी है. पीएम मोदी उस वक्त सीएम भी नहीं थे. सरकार की जगह संगठन में थे. भारतीय जनता पार्टी की जम्मू और कश्मीर प्रदेश इकाई के लेटरहेड के एक पन्ने पर मोदी ने ये छोटी सी कविता लिखी थी.
राम मोदी के लिए क्या हैं, इसका परिचय कराती है ये कविता. राम मोदी के लिए सियासत का प्रतीक नहीं, भारत की मूल प्रकृति हैं. अगर भारतीयता की पहचान करनी है, तो वो राम के बिना संभव नहीं. राम भारतीय सभ्यता की सबसे बड़ी पहचान हैं, इस देश की हजारों वर्ष पुरानी सनातन परंपरा के सबसे बड़े संवाहक हैं. जो भी हमारे समाज के आदर्श मूल्य हैं, उसकी पहचान हैं राम.
राम को लेकर मोदी के ये भाव उस दौर के हैं, जब राम जन्मभूमि को लेकर आंदोलन तेज ही हुआ था. बीजेपी के तत्कालीन राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष लालकृष्ण आडवाणी सोमनाथ से अयोध्या की रथयात्रा समस्तीपुर में खत्म कर चुके थे. बिहार में तब के सीएम लालू यादव ने इसे रुकवा दिया था, अपने को मुसलमानों का सबसे बड़ा मसीहा साबित करने के लिए, सेक्युलरिज्म की राजनीति चमकाने के लिए. ये पता भी नहीं था कि अयोध्या में राम जन्मभूमि को लेकर चलने वाला कानूनी और सियासी विवाद कब तक खत्म होगा.
ऐसे में ये भला कौन सोच सकता था कि अयोध्या में राम लला का भव्य मंदिर वाकई बन पाएगा. ये भी भला किसे पता था कि जो मोदी 1990 की रथयात्रा की तैयारी में भूमिका निभा चुके होंगे, उन्हें ही राम मंदिर को पूर्णता पर पहुंचाने में सबसे बड़ी भूमिका निभाने का मौका मिलेगा. न सिर्फ वो पीएम की कुर्सी पर आसीन होंगे, बल्कि अयोध्या में राम मंदिर के लिए भूमिपूजन भी करेंगे और फिर उस मंदिर में प्राण प्रतिष्ठा का मौका भी मिलेगा उन्हें. लेकिन ये सब कुछ सच हुआ. मोदी ने वर्ष 2014 में केंद्र में सत्ता की बागडोर संभालने के कुछ वर्षों के अंदर न सिर्फ राम जन्मभूमि के सदियों पुराने पचड़े को खत्म करने का सफल प्रयास किया, बल्कि यहां मंदिर निर्माण को तेजी से पूरा करने में भी बड़ी भूमिका निभाई.
क्या मोदी के लिए मंदिर आध्यात्मिक खोज और राष्ट्र चेतना का हिस्सा रहे हैं? क्या मोदी को ये संस्कार बचपन से ही हासिल हुए हैं? क्या मोदी राजनीति में रहते हुए भी सन्यासी हैं. क्या धर्म और अध्यात्म से ही उन्हें समाज सेवा के संस्कार मिले हैं? राम मंदिर का निर्माण मोदी के लिए क्या महज एक धार्मिक भवन का निर्माण है या फिर भारतीय सभ्यता और संस्कृति के प्राचीन मूल्यों को पूरी ताकत से विश्व मंच पर प्रतिष्ठित करने का मौका? राम मंदिर निर्माण के पूरा होने के साथ ही क्या हिंदू सनातन संस्कृति एक नई ऊंचाई छूने जा रही है?
इन तमाम सवालों के जवाब तलाशने के लिए हमें मोदी के जीवन के उन पृष्ठों में झांकना होगा, जो अध्यात्म, मंदिर, साधना से जुड़े हैं. मोदी के व्यक्तित्व का आध्यात्मिक पहलू ही इन सभी सवालों का जवाब दे पाने में समर्थ है, उपयोगी है. मोदी अमूमन अपने व्यक्तित्व के इस पहलू के बारे में कम ही बोलते हैं, कम ही खुलते हैं. लेकिन निगाह उनके जीवन पर बारीकी से डाली जाए, तो सूत्र तलाशे जा सकते हैं. कोशिश भी यही है. आखिर मोदी के मानस में कब और कैसे वो बीज पड़े, जिसने इक्कीसवीं सदी में भारतीयता और भारतीय मूल्यों को वैश्विक मंच पर स्थापित करने में सबसे बड़ी भूमिका निभाई है.
